It may only be July, but we’ve already started the countdown to New York Climate Week in September. At that time every year, NYCW transforms the city into a buzzing hub of panels and parties for founders, funders, policymakers, and supporters alike.
But let’s be honest: it can also be a lot. Whether it’s your first NYCW or your fifth, the chaos of the packed week and the city itself can feel overwhelming to navigate. That’s where we come in. We’re doing what we do best: cutting through the noise and helping the climate tech community find each other.
🥁 Announcing: the CTVC NYCW Events Tracker is back!
We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what’s on for New York Climate Week, so we thought we’d launch our tracker early. That’s right — we’re bringing back our public, living list of NYCW gatherings to help you plan your week, discover new events, and skip the dreaded FOMO. Whether you’re hosting a packed panel or an intimate happy hour, we want to include it, so send it in now via this Google form and we’ll publish the tracker ASAP.
Submitting early helps us jumpstart the ultimate NYCW guide for climate tech founders, funders, and friends.
✨ Coming next week
Once submissions roll in, we’ll drop the full tracker to help you map out your NYCW game plan. From big-name conferences to under-the-radar meetups, we’ll cover it all. Plus, we’ve got something special planned this year — so keep your eyes peeled. 👀
This is a community resource — so send in your events, share the tracker with friends, and check back as the list grows. NYCW is better when we all plug in.
See you in September!

This could slow down industrial decarbonization progress.

Previous budgets have excluded conventional reactor funding. The plan immediately sparked backlash, especially from Germany and Austria, reflecting a rift between pro-nuclear member states France and Sweden.
Oregon passed the nation’s first comprehensive microgrid framework with two bipartisan bills aimed at improving grid resilience amid rising demand and extreme weather. The legislation streamlines approvals for community and private microgrids and empowers local governments to designate “microgrid zones” to support energy independence and wildfire resilience, offering a model for other states navigating grid reliability and climate-driven disruptions.
